Registrar's Office
Your information, handled with the same care as the tradition. Last updated September 2026.
Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
Learning records: your enrollments, course progress, community posts, and booking history.
Reading details: the session type you book, your focus notes, and your contact email — used only to prepare for and deliver your session.
Payment information: processed by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
Technical data: basic device and usage information that keeps the site running and secure.
To run the school: deliver courses, manage your membership, host Congo Square, and schedule readings.
To communicate with you: confirmations, schedule changes, and school announcements. We do not sell your information, ever.
To improve the curriculum: we may look at aggregate, de-identified patterns (for example, which modules students finish most) to make the school better.
What you share in a reading stays between you and your reader. Session notes, when kept, exist only to support your ongoing work and are never shared with other students or third parties.
Posts in Congo Square are visible to other enrolled students. Please don't share personal details in the forum that you wouldn't want fellow students to see. Faculty moderate the space and may remove content that violates our terms.
Service providers that run the school: our hosting, database, email, and payment processors. Each is bound to handle your data only as instructed by us.
Legal requirements: if the law compels disclosure, we will share only what is required.
You can update your account details from your dashboard at any time.
You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and associated records, by contacting us. Some records (like payment receipts) may be retained where the law requires.
We use encryption in transit and restrict internal access to those who need it to run the school. We keep your records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask for earlier deletion.
If this policy changes materially, we'll notify you by email or a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
